EGAM Winter Training Seminar alongside the «Sarajevo-sur-Seine» Film Festival took place for the third time in Paris and Forbach from the 4th to the 12th of February 2018. The seminar gathered numerous representatives from different countries inside and outside the European Union.
From debating with Beate Klarsfeld to develop ideas with refugees, this intensive programme was designed to give a comprehensive overview on the most crucial problems affecting European society today. The numerous plenary sessions and workshops, alongside with the visit to Forbach – a post-industrial city in Moselle, home to numerous refugees and stronghold of the National Front – guided participants through a proactive discussion on key issues affecting European society today. A core part of this programme was the “Sarajevo-sur-Seine” Film Festival with the screening of the movies selected by the EGAM-led Youth Jury during the Sarajevo Film Festival 2017. During this festival, participants watched documentaries on Human Rights and discussed them with directors and human rights experts.
