On the occasion of International Human Rights Day, young people from across the Western Balkans gathered by the regional network of the Youth Initiative for Human Rights, headed for governments in the region, with the Regional Declaration of Human Rights.
Youth in Belgrade, Pristina, Podgorica, Sarajevo and Zagreb collectively experience problems that are remnants of the legacy of the 90s and of the last century, and fight diminishing them their societies. Activists, born immediately before, during and after the wars in the former Yugoslavia, show a willingness to take responsibility and deal with the consequences brought about by wars and lack of genuine and serious policy of reconciliation in the years after the conflict.

Today is Srebrenica Memorial Day. We honour the 8,372 men and boys murdered in the genocide 24 years ago, their Mothers and survivors.
Approximately 30,000 people will attend the collective funeral for 33 recently identified remains at the Srebrenica–Potočari Memorial Cemetery.
