For the the 7th consecutive year, Roma Pride is once again taking place in around 10 European countries starting from today! This initiative, bringing together Roma and non-Roma people, is both a political and cultural platform which draws public attention to the problems that Roma communities are facing all across Europe. This is also occasion to manifest and share the richness of Roma culture and the contribution of Roma to the European history.
As well as dealing with the national issues, this years` Roma Pride will have a strong focus on the recent developments connected to the “Dignity for Lety!” campaign and historic steps on the way to remove the pig farm from the site of the former concentration camp at Lety in Czech Republic.
Check out what is happening now and in upcoming days in Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Macedonia, Montenegro, Moldova, Netherlands and Ukraine! Click the markers on the map below or follow us on social media to keep you up to date.
